Glittery bottle with stars effect
Issue: developing a new technique able to enhance every single glitter on packaging.
Solution: There are two procedures for a glittering finish: the first one, traditional, makes use of varnishing, as we have already seen several times: you spray some glitter together with varnish, but in this way the glittery effect is reduced, limited by varnishing.
The second option, designed by our technical department and lab, called “stars”, specially developed for this glass bottle, draws on flocking technique: you varnish glass with glue, later you spray glitters, some glittery pigments in different size in order to get them stuck on the glue, on the item.
The result is a packaging full of bright reflections, a glitter effect with stars.
Development: many in the glass field, some already in use in perfumery boutiques. You can get the same results on packaging like bezels or caps: the effect obtained is a very strong, bright glitter, rough to the touch, which produces a unique sensation.
